Who doesn’t want to be slim, sassy, and sexy, no matter your age?

Reclaim energy and vitality!

Group care offers evidenced-based foundational health information in a time and cost-efficient manner, so you can break free from draining, limiting fatigue and chronic illness.

Brain fog, anxiety, depression, IBS, period irregularities, high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach pain, joint pain, and insomnia can be reversed using diet and lifestyle.

Have you tried seeking help but didn’t find what you were looking for?

Disease-oriented medical care can feel sterile, generic, and impersonal. It is based on medications and procedures with risks and side effects. We appreciate acute care when we need it, but day to day, it doesn’t feel like that honors our healing power within.

You want healthcare that takes into consideration who you are. A setting and care model that addresses your whole person.

What would that look like? It would be warm, inviting, and safe. So we could be ourselves. We could give and get ideas and support, share what we know from our journey thus far, and learn from others.

There is such a thing. Group visits are shared appointments.

People come together to connect as humans, with time to share what is going on with you, time to hear others, and time to brainstorm and consider various approaches. There is support and accountability. A health care professional facilitates and offers evidence-based information to promote healing and restoration of health.

This is not a new concept. Perhaps you’ve heard of The Daniel Plan, or The Cleveland Clinic’s Functioning for Life program. These are examples of highly successful group visit models.

Get your groove back! Group healthcare can supercharge your progress. Research is overwhelmingly clear on this. Being socially connected around a common goal is as much a part of a healthy lifestyle as eating right and exercising. Groups are transforming health outcomes together.

In addition to support and accountability, group care is cost-effective. Multiple people sharing the same “appointment” means you get more time, more in-depth information and explanation, for less cost.

I am passionate about Functional Medicine becoming the way of “health” care. Group care is going to be a big part of making that reality.

As much as I love supporting individuals on their healing journey, it is time-consuming and costly. I will be promoting group care and keeping limited 1:1 office hours over time.

Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Functional Medicine has new patients complete a 10-week foundational group program before seeing a provider for individual care. Some people won’t need 1:1 anymore, and the ones who do will be further down the line toward health when they do. This is cost and time efficient for everyone, and more fun!

I have partnered with HealCommunity, which helps providers like me offer evidence-based, comprehensive, well-supported group care to clients.

“Slim, Sassy, and Sexy… at any age!” is my nickname for the group that will be starting very soon. The official name is “HealCommunity 6 Pillars of Foundational Health Virtual Coaching Group”.

Each group will consist of 10-15 people. Visits are virtual and last 75 minutes each. There are 13 visits over 6 months, spending a full month on each of the 6 pillars of foundational health.

Some insurances will cover the cost of the program. Otherwise, a very reasonable investment will cover the entire program for self-pay participants. New groups will begin every few months.

Lastly, men can access this program! And can now have 1:1 Health Coaching visits too. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, I am licensed to diagnose and treat women in Co and Wy. Health Coaching does not involve these specifics but offers targeted diet, lifestyle, and supplement support. My first recommendation for those interested in health coaching would be to get the most bang for your buck by doing the group program and then see me 1:1 if still needed.
